Don't Place A Financial Curse On Yourself By Not Paying Your Tithe, Pay Your Tithe- Bishop Oyedepo

Popular Nigerian pastor has opened up an entire conversation this morning when he claimed that it is very difficult to be rich and prosperous in life when you dont pay your tithe. He claimed that people who dont pay tithe dont know what they are doing to themselves. He claimed that such people are liable to place financial curse on themselves that will inhibit them from succeeding in life.

He dropped this message on his twitter profile yesterday where he claimed that anybody who does not pay his tithe is invoking a financial curse on himself .

The message drew a lot of backlash from some opinionated Nigerians . It is very clear that Gospel preaching and tithing is becoming very unpopular in Nigeria as the sentiment that many of the ministries are too concerned with the financial aspect of the church instead of salvation.

Pastor David Oyedepo is one of the leading Gospel preachers in Nigeria and his Liberation ministry has a lot of followers in Nigeria and Africa.

In a country like Nigeria where the poverty rate is very high and people are mostly unemployed , Does Pastor Adeboye's message make any sense? Will more tithing help the poor?
